Devils photos in USA Today, Star Ledger

I wasn’t thrilled with my images from my first NHL game last weekend, but at least three photos have been picked up this week, including one in a USA Today game story and another in the Newark-Star Ledger, via NJ.com.
NHL debut: Devils stun Islanders late

I stole Bruce Bennett’s personal work stool. I set up shop in the wrong media workroom. I edited my photos in Sparky the Dragon’s sweaty dressing room. And I was kind of hungry. That, and three goals in the last few minutes, was my experience last night in Uniondale as I shot my first NHL [...]
Border War

Army hosted the Royal Military College last weekend, essentially Canada’s West Point equivalent. It was an exhibition game and Army dominated with a 9-1 win at a sold-out Tate Rink. Fun game to shoot, I used my 400mm f/2.8L lens for the first two periods and then switched to a 15mm fisheye for the final [...]
Air Force visits West Point

I finally made it back up to Tate Rink for some Army hockey on Friday night as West Point hosted rival Air Force for the first of two games. Army is not having a good season — with the 3-3 tie against Air Force, they improved to 2-13-7 overall and 1-11-5 in league games. Mark [...]
Army hockey photos in West Point Magazine

One, which followed the Army hockey team for a weekend in February, was published in the April/Spring edition of the magazine, which is sent to over 50,000 West Point alums.

New captains coming in 2010
Army named it’s new captains for the 2010-11 ice hockey season earlier today, which gives me a quick excuse to post some photos of the newly-crowned leaders.
I think I’m bad luck
Dan blogs about his miserable week, which includes highlights such as a speeding ticket, an army basketball loss, stress at work and the news his favorite state park will be closed. Enjoy.
Army takes on Air Force
I shot the Army-Air Force hockey game on Saturday at West Point, a 3-3 tie in a game that Army rallied to tie with 10 seconds left after pulling goalie Jay Clark.
Cadets fall to Navy
Army surrendered a nice lead in the second half today in a 62-56 loss to Navy in Annapolis. Not a good afternoon for first-year head coach Zack Spiker
